We are getting closer to finishing up with all the painting. I will be so glad when it is all done. It has been a lot of work – it’s worth it, but still a lot of work. We are going to work on bedrooms tomorrow and then we are finished. I’ve started to put a few things back up on the walls, but I’m still trying to figure out where I want everything to go. So far we have…
The hall bathroom:
I bought the shower curtain at Target and I think it goes quite nicely with the green on the walls.
I framed a few prints.
We went with a slightly lighter color in the hallways than what is in the living room, but its very close. This is actually what you see when you first walk in our house.
Another collection of random prints. This is on the wall right outside our bedroom. It’s what we see when we first walk out of our room every morning.
The Living Room:
My Grandma’s church painting.
Bathroom in Our Bedroom:
We couldn’t figure out what to do with the ugly teal tile on the walls. Taking it off is not going to be an easy job as the walls underneath it will need a lot of work. So for now, we’re embracing it. This is our 50’s inspired powder room complete with 50’s pinup style paintings.
Ignore the wrinkled curtain. I will be ironing it this weekend.
